The international scientific conference “Identity, Tradition and Cultural Interferences. Symbolism of The Romanian Blouse Ia” aims to foster collaborative exploration and academic dialogue on the cultural, historical, and symbolic significance of the traditional Romanian blouse, known as the “ia.” By bringing together universities and researchers from Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Moldova, and other countries, the conference seeks to:
Objective
Promote cross-cultural dialogue, preserve and revitalize traditional cultural heritage, and enhance scholarly research on the ia’s symbolism and its cultural interferences across diverse regions.
This objective emphasizes the conference’s focus on fostering regional cooperation, preserving cultural traditions, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and promoting a deeper understanding of the traditions role in cultural identity both within and beyond the participating countries.

Abstract Submission Instructions
You are invited to send your abstract to the International Conference Identity, Tradition and Cultural Interferences. Symbolism of the Romanian blouse „IA“ which will be held online on 21 June 2024.
All abstracts should be sent in English.
At first participants should send their abstracts (in .doc or .docx file format).
The abstracts submitted to the conference undergo a blind review process by two anonymous reviewers from the conference’s scientific review board.
The conference secretary will send you a message with the decision to accept or reject.

Conference participants will be assisted and guided to get their papers published in the Regular Issue of these journals.
Important Note: The decision of whether or not any of the papers can be included in these journals publication remains at the full discretion of the journal editors and is subject to the results of the double-blind peer review and the satisfactory completion of any revisions required.
